Flaming June Half Marathon running events on Sunday 4th June 2017.

Come and enjoy the unique multi terrain course, don’t take our word for it – these are just a couple of comments received after the 2016 event

‘Really interesting course, great organisation and the marshals were fantastic, easily the best of any event I’ve done which includes a multitude of cycle races, runs and triathlons’

‘Thank you for organising such a great event. Such great organisation, wonderful marshals, a lovely mixed route and the support along the way was fab.’

New for 2017

  • Event Technical t shirt for all half marathon runners
  • Quarter marathon (6.55 miles)

Organised by charity The Friends of Histon & Impington Recreation and the village HI Runners we hope that the Flaming June events provide something a little different from the usual road-based courses. The Friends have a growing reputation for organising community sporting events including the Flaming June’s smaller brother the ‘Bonfire Burn 10k‘ to be held on Sunday 5 November 2017 plus the Strawberry 50 Community cycling event held in September.

The start time for the half marathon is 9.30am partly to avoid the heat – yes this is correct! and the quarter marathon starts at 9.10am

The Histon & Impington Wellbeing Mile  will take place on Sunday 12 June at 10am to raise funds for the work of Blue Smile the Cambridge based children’s counselling charity at Histon Junior School
